Booking a home massage

Female or male therapist: you choose

Somebody is coming into your home, so it is a fair thing to want a say in. You can ask for a female or a male therapist when you book, and it changes nothing else about the session.

In the owner’s words: want a female or male therapist? Prefer a specific technique? Let us know when you book.

How to ask

  • Say it when you book

Tell us in the same message as your area and the treatment. It is a normal thing to ask and nobody will query it.

  • Earlier is easier

The more notice we have, the more likely we can match your preference. Same-day bookings depend on who is free in your area at that hour.

  • No preference is an answer too

If it does not matter to you, say that. We will send whoever can reach you soonest, which is usually the quickest way to get a session.

  • It is not the only thing you can ask for

A specific technique, softer or firmer pressure, stairs, parking, a pregnancy or an injury. Tell us when you book rather than at the door.

What happens to the request

There are only two answers, and you hear either of them before anything is confirmed.

You Say it when you book In the same message as your area and the treatment.
  • If one is free We match it.
  • If not We tell you before anything is confirmed.
    Then you choose
    • Take a different time
    • Take whoever is free
    • Leave it

Nobody turns up at your door as a surprise.

The whole of it, in the order it happens. Every line is answered in full in the questions below.

Before the first booking

If this is your first home massage, the other thing worth reading is what to have ready before the therapist arrives. It is short, and the answer is mostly “nothing”.

Booking for two? Each of you can say which therapist you would prefer. See couples massage at home, or arranging a massage as a gift.

Questions about therapists

Can I ask for a female massage therapist?

Yes. Say so when you book, in the same message as your area and the treatment you want. We will match it where we can, and we will tell you straight away if we cannot.

Can I ask for a male massage therapist?

Yes, the same way. Tell us when you book. Availability depends on who is working in your area at the time you want, so earlier notice makes a match more likely.

What if the therapist I asked for is not available?

We tell you before anything is confirmed. You can take a different time, take whoever is free, or leave it. Nobody turns up at your door as a surprise.

What else should I mention when I book?

Anything that affects the session: stairs or parking, a pregnancy, an injury, the pressure you prefer, or a technique you want. It is easier to arrange beforehand than at the door.

Book a session at home

Tell us your area, the treatment you want, a time, and whether you would rather have a female or a male therapist. Send the booking form, or use the chat bubble.
